Finca La Colombia is located in the mountains of Ciudad Bolivar, in the southwest of Antioquia, an area renowned for producing specialty coffees with vibrant and complex profiles. Situated between 1,600 and 2,050 meters above sea level, this farm benefits from an ideal microclimate and a unique biodiversity that is reflected in every cup.
This coffee stands out for its enzymatic caramel fragrance and expressive sensory profile, combining notes of chocolate, red fruit, citrus and flowers, on a sweet and well-structured base. The honey process enhances its juicy acidity and maintains a remarkable cup cleanliness, offering a balanced and nuanced experience.
The farm has 130 hectares, of which 65 are cultivated in coffee, and the rest is maintained as native forest and natural reserve. These areas protect important water sources that supply the local community, benefiting more than 100 families. This agroecological management not only promotes environmental sustainability, but also strengthens the social commitment of the farm to its surroundings.
La Colombia is part of the Cafelumbus project, a company dedicated to the production of specialty coffees in Colombia. Thanks to the work of Gonzalo, who has been in charge of the farm for more than 8 years, and a highly trained technical team, high quality micro-lots have been developed, harvested 100% by hand and processed under high standards.
