The Cerrado Mineiro Region is known for its high quality coffees and for being the first Denomination of Origin (DO) of coffee in the country, achieved in 2013.

With the advance of regenerative agriculture, the Cerrado Mineiro Region is emerging as a leader in sustainable coffee production in the country. Recognized for its exceptional quality and unique terroir, the region has the largest area certified in regenerative agriculture, demonstrating a commitment to practices that preserve the health of agricultural ecosystems.

Regenerative agriculture, widely adopted in the region, aims to conserve fauna and flora, protect water sources, soil cover and climate-smart techniques, positioning the Cerrado Mineiro as a reference in sustainability in agribusiness and protecting the environment for future generations.

Located in the northwest of the state of Minas Gerais, it has well defined seasons, a hot and humid summer and a pleasantly dry winter, a characteristic that, together with plantations with altitudes above 1,000 meters, result in high quality coffees with a unique identity.

Topazio is a variety created in Brazil, product of the crossing of Mundo Novo and Catuaí Rojo varietals. Its fruits are yellow in color, resembling the intense yellow color of the precious stone Topazio.
